[starttext]One part bicycle wheel, couple of parts scrap wood, four small screws,
one big washer...that's it! The assembly takes standard power hand
tools (bench tools would be even better) and some wrenches and such.
The whole project took 30 minutes tops (I wasn't keeping track really),
but it's presented here -- through the magic of really fastness -- in
under 10 minutes.Very nice! I need a banding wheel and never knew I had the parts just
sitting in the basement the whole time. Thanks for posting this.

[starttext]Clamps are bought from Harbor Freight or you can order them thru
Amazon. Harbor Freight is the cheapest that I've found. I believe they
are called toggle clamps.

- you can buy them at chain reaction cycles - go to bottom of the page and click on the link to "tools" under the category "workshop"

- how do you remove it off a normal mountain bike the ones with bolts ?Usually I just hit the cassette with a hammer. Some of the teeth get bent, but then I just stopped shifting. So, what's next?
