  • Erm is it a mountain bike???if so then it could be the ball bearings in your crank. Take it to a bike shop it will cost around £20 I think but take it asap cos if you leave it too late you'll need a new crank :/

  • how do you remove it off a normal mountain bike the ones with bolts ?Usually I just hit the cassette with a hammer. Some of the teeth get bent, but then I just stopped shifting. When that gets boring I get out the vise-grip. Bend those puppies back to where they used to be. If that goes wrong I beat up my bike with an aluminum bat. Then I report the bike as stolen. So, what's next?
